Unai Emery wants to get rid of Mesut Ozil to purchase several new performers on the money raised. The Spaniard lacks attacking midfielders; therefore this winter a restructuring awaits Arsenal in the winter.

Since the beginning of the current season Ozil was a key figure in constructing the Gunners attack. However, injuries and various reasons led to the naturalized German to last time appear on the pitch on the 26^th of December and spend only 45 minutes on the pitch. He missed the match with Liverpool, in which the Londoners lost 5:1, as well as games with Fulham and Blackpool.

The player did not get into the line-up for the latest match against West Ham by the manager’s decision. Iwobi played on the edge together with Lacazette and Aubameyang, while Guendouzi and Xhaka started attacks. After the loss to the Hammers 0:1 Emery told, why he left the German outside of the line-up for the match,

Considering not the brightest relations between Unai Emery and Ozil, Daily Mail reckons that the player will leave the club in the winter. The halfback doesn’t want to go on loan, plus the manager himself to raise some money from his sale to strengthen the midfield, as in the summer the team will also be left without Aaron Ramsey.

Arsenal consider Denis Suarez from Barcelona amongst the candidates for a replacement. The odds on the halfback to leave Barcelona are 4/7 and on his new club to be the London Arsenal are 8/13. But Arsenal need to strengthen defense. The match against Liverpool showed that the team cannot hope for a positive result in the league with such a defense. Therefore, the management has to spend some money on new players and the manager must conduct roster clean-up.
