Time of Germany national team leaders has ended0
Bundesteam head coach, Joachim Low, claims that he will leave Hummels, Boateng and Muller outside of the call-up for the upcoming matches of the European football championship qualification matches. The manager is going to reform the team, having claimed about this in a recent interview.
The odious manager of the Germany national team, Joachim Low, has begun to restructure the team. After the disastrous World Cup in Russia, where his team did not advance from the group, the German went to drastic measures. The manager was blamed last summer for leaving Leroy Sane outside of the Mondial; therefore, Low has gotten used to critique. Especially after the signed new agreement with the German football federation.
Boateng is an old-timer of the Germany national team. The naturalized Ghanaian wore Bundesteam jersey for the first time in 2009. That was one year earlier than when Hummels and Muller were called up to the national team for the first time. The whole three participated in Germany’s victory in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, and the Bayern forward scored his tenth goal on Mondials, which has become his last.
In an interview to the local newspaper Bild, Low claimed,
“This year will become a new start for the national team of Germany and we want to start with drastic changes. Jerome Boateng, Mats Hummels and Thomas Muller did not make it to the squad of the mational team last year and I explained them that I have no plans of calling them up anymore.
This is one of my decisions according to the plan of reforming the team. I told them about it on Monday during our personal meeting in Munich. I think this is the right step as we want to make a new face for the Germany national team.”
In the qualification for the 2020 European championship, the Germans got into one group with the national teams of Northern Ireland, Estonia, Belarus and the Netherlands. The latter, by the way, crushed Low’s team in the Nations League at home 3:0 and had an efficient away draw 2:2, scoring two goals in the end of the match.
