Barcelona refused to sell Dembele to Bayern0
Catalan Barcelona responded with denial on Bayern’s offer to purchase winger Ousmane Dembele.
Bayern Munich continue searching for a replacement of the aging Ribery and Robben. This time the German club looked closer to Catalan Barcelona’s player of the offensive line, Ousmane Dembele. Before that, the Reds were hoping to sign Manchester City winger Leroy Sane, but it seems that negotiations with him were stumped.
The Frenchman joined Blaugranas in the summer of 2017, when they failed to lure Coutinho. During that time Dembele did not become a stable starting line-up player and also often was seen violating discipline.
Bayern offered 70 million pounds for the footballer; however, Barcelona responded with a denial. The Catalans demand 95 million euros for the winger, but the Germans took a wait. Soon Barcelona has to announce Antoine Griezmann’s transfer and also conducting negotiations on Neymar’s return to Camp Nou. Considering the money, the club will spend on transfers, they will have to sell footballers, not to run into a ban because of the financial fair play.
Therefore, Rekordmeister’s sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic is not going to force the events, although he did contact with the club. Bayern management is also hoping that after planned signings by Bayern, Dembele will understand that he lost his spot in the starting line-up and will leave for them after gaming practice.
Dembele was offered to PSG as a bargaining chip in the deal for Neymar. The Parisians would not mind letting the Brazilian go if they got surcharge for Neymar instead of the Frenchman. Barcelona offered Coutinho, but PSG management refused. Also, a little bit earlier, the Catalans management told the footballer’s manager Moussa Sissoko that it will not let its ward go to a new club for less than 400 million euros, mentioned in his contract as compensation.
